Finally got a chance to try this place! The parking can be rather tough on the weekends, so try to find street parking if available instead. It shares the same parking lot with a few other popular shops in the plaza. The outside is very inconspicuous. I do like the tinted windows to keep the heat out, but if I was just walking by, I'd have no idea what this store was. I got the Mango Cheese Smoothie and this was fantastic! The mango flavor was on point, but the one thing I would have prefer was if there was as tad bit less tea jelly. It was fine, but the drink itself was on point. Overall, I'd come back for the smoothie.

Tea quality is great! Love the green tea jelly! Friends highly recommended this place and they go nearly every day lol. The store is clean, bright and I like the decorations. There's a bench to wait and it's a grab-and-go place. You can either order from a tablet or from a cashier, and you can order online in advance. The first day I went, it seemed like an off day. They had paper cups with real made for a poor drinking experience because I couldn't see the tea and toppings. I also had boba topping and it was like the tasteless boba.... Will have to come more times and order different things in order to really feel out this place. I've come to this place 3x and have always gotten the honey osmanthus oolong latte with oat milk with green tea jelly. 30% sweetness is still too sweet for me (perhaps because of the honey and sweetness in the jelly). Really enjoy the combination, which are my favorite things all in one. My partner had the #1 honey osmanthus oolong tea, which came highly recommended from friends. He liked it but preferred the latte for the more milky body. My brother had the fresh milk with purple rice and taro with oat milk. There's no sweetness alterations and no additional toppings allowed for this drink. He said that the purple rice was alright and the taro was good and added the perfect amount of sweetness.

This has been my go-to spot for tea! Their honey osmanthus oolong tea with almond jelly is sooo good. You can order zero sugar and it still tastes amazing. There's already sweetness from the honey and almond jelly, so no need to add extra sugar. I definitely need to try their other drinks. The wait is ridiculous, so I order the drinks online before I come to avoid sitting there for 30-40 minutes waiting for my drink. The parking lot is small, so it can be hard to get parking sometimes. The place is always clean, and I appreciate how they wipe off any condensation on the cup before handing over the drinks. Despite the wait and parking challenges, the quality of the tea and the attention to detail make it all worth it. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Staff was really friendly and you order at a counter and there is really only one small long bench to sit in inside. No tables or chairs. The parking lot is free but really small so I guess it makes sense that this is more of a to-go place. Either way, the place was really clean and they have a multitude of different authentic teas. It was hard for them to do anything not sweet so I just got a plain tea which was still tasty. Restroom was clean as well and drinks were made quickly.

I am super impressed with the tea here at Chun Yang Tea. This place does it SO well! Most of their tea drinks are offered with Oolong tea. I've tried several Oolong flavored teas (Pomelo, Lemon, Lychee, Honey Osmanthus), and they are all perfectly made with a very distinctive Oolong tea flavor. I have also tried their Black Tea Latte, and that was also full of tea flavor! If you like that quality tea flavor, this place is it! What is interesting is that a lot of their Oolong based drinks are relatively sweet. They recommend going with 30% sweetness to start for their Oolong drinks. I'd say that 30% is just right for me. I really wish they would open one in OC near me. This is my new favorite drink place!

I got the Pineapple Oolong Tea and it was good. However, even getting 30% sugar, it was still super sweet. Might need to get 0% next time. My friends got drinks including milk. Surprisingly, the milk substitute for oatmilk did not have an extra charge which is great! Not sure if it is still like that though.

The only Chun Yang boba store in LA. My first experience with them was in New York and they never disappoint me. Highlights of the menu: 1. Peach oolong tea 2. Oolong milk tea with grass jelly 3. Osmanthus honey oolong tea 4. Fresh milk with taro & sago

Refreshing beverages in San Gabriel, California... When smart people speak, I pay attention! My friend, Sam B., highly recommended this tea spot. I found it and agree with her for the following reasons: 1. Free shared parking lot - I dislike paying for parking! 2. Convenient restroom - much appreciated! 3. Rewards Program - gives me more motivation to return 4. Quality products - my drinks had great flavor! 5. Efficient, attentive service - I asked if I could take a photo before the cups were put into a carrying bag and if I could use the restroom before taking my purchase to my car... yes! 6. Spacious, clean environment - comfortable! 7. Simple decor with cute plushies - enjoyable! I'm finding that ordering on a tablet might be taking away some human interaction, but the options for "half sweetness", "Milk Alternative", or "less ice" might be forgotten when someone has to ask everyday during every transaction. Note about my Black Tea Latte with Oat Milk, Purple Rice, and Sago: I liked it because it was a bit exotic with healthy Purple Rice and chewy Sago! It was a nice quick "meal" that carried me through a movie and kept me awake! I also enjoyed my Honey Lemon Oolong Tea... it had strong, distinct, authentic taste! Bonus: I immediately liked the place when I saw part of my Chinese name on the wall: Chun! Thanks, Sam, for this great suggestion!
